Wondering who owns Playtex bras and how it got its start? Playtex was founded as the International Latex Company in 1932, as a bathing cap manufacturer, and soon expanded its product line under the Playtex name. Since the creation of our first Living girdle in 1947, we have been committed to making comfortable intimate apparel. After the 1954 introduction of our Playtex Living bra made with elastic, we went on to become the first brand to advertise bras and girdles on TV. Always innovating, we introduced our Cross Your Heart® bras in 1965, followed by our famous Playtex 18 Hour bras® in 1970. Both quickly became household names. In 1991, the Playtex Intimate Apparel division was acquired by Sara Lee Corp. In 2006, Playtex became part of HanesBrands Inc.

These wireless bras for the full-figured woman feature our beloved TruSUPPORT® 4-way system, which includes: higher sides for coverage; fuller cups for natural shape and support; wider shoulder straps for all-day comfort; and a built-up back for smoothing and stability.
